Blue Salvia Handspun Yarn 2oz

$38.00
Sold Out

2.3 oz hand dyed handspun 2 ply yarn. Approximately 57 yds. 70% Coopworth & 30% Mohair medium weight yarn. Coopworth sheep are a duel purpose, longwool breed originally from New Zealand. Mohair comes from the Angora Goat and adds sheen to the yarn, takes up dye beautifully and makes a strong yarn. Suitable for outer garments, blankets, weaving, knitting, crocheting and rug hooking.

Photos show 2 bobbins of yarn ready to be plied together to make a 2 ply yarn. Fiber in the basket was used to make this yarn, inspired by it’s Salvia namesake. I’ve done my best to photograph accurately, but colors may vary depending on your monitor. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
