Spontaneously Dyed Fiber - Mindfully Spun Yarn

My work is a constant balance between intention and spontaneity. I dye fiber for spinning in small batches. While I begin with an idea of what I’m looking for, the end result is always a surprise. When spinning, I respond to how the yarn wants to be spun. Embracing the yarn’s handmade origin, I allow the natural variations in thickness and color to occur. My goal is to create beautiful yarn that will inspire others to create.
